Because You Give — God’s Work in Poland

Raising Up Leaders In Poland

A personal update from Karolina Szafran
Dear Friends,
As I look back on this past season, my heart is full of gratitude. God has been moving in beautiful ways here in Poland, and I’m so thankful for your prayers and support. Truly—because you give, lives are being changed by Jesus!
Refresh Festival — “I Do Not Condemn You”
In August, I helped organize Refresh Festival, a Christian event where this year’s theme was “I Do Not Condemn You.” Through messages, worship, and prayer, we were reminded that Jesus welcomes us and calls us into freedom.
While serving, God opened doors for meaningful conversations with young women. I shared my own story of pain and healing, pointing them toward the hope found only in Christ.
The Source Weekend — Healing and Freedom
At the end of August, I served at The Source Weekend, a retreat for youth and church leaders. It was a powerful time of healing, forgiveness, and renewal. From preparing meals to praying with participants, I saw God’s Spirit at work in every detail.
During English Camp, I also rediscovered painting. One piece showed clear water on the surface and darkness below—reminding me that Christ’s light reaches even our hidden places.
Local Church — Youth and Discipleship
In September, we celebrated our first youth meeting! We explored the question, “Can we really hide from God?” and discovered His love still calls us close.
I also began my third year of discipleship with Nastia. Recently, she bravely shared her testimony during street evangelism—and moments later met a woman from Ukraine who needed to hear it. God’s timing was perfect.
Thank you for giving, praying, and believing with me. Your partnership helps the light of Christ shine in Poland!
With gratitude,
Karolina Szafran
