Message Takeaways - Who Is Your One Life?

 Who Is Your One Life?

Acts 9:10–19

Pastor Stu reminded us that God often uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things. Through the story of Ananias, we see how simple obedience and availability can change the course of someone’s life—and even history itself.

Takeaways:
• Be a common disciple ready for uncommon service.
• Respond with immediate obedience: “Here I am, Lord.”
• Touch one life with courage and compassion.

Ananias didn’t have a title, training, or platform—just a willing heart. His obedience became the doorway to Saul’s transformation, proving that God’s greatest work often begins with one person saying “yes.”

Ask God to show you your “one life” this week, and take a step of faith to reach out in love and obedience.

Three ideas to reflect on this week:

Day 1 – Be a Common Disciple Ready for Uncommon Service
Acts 9:15 But the Lord said to him, Go, for he is a chosen instrument of mine to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and the children of Israel.

Reflection: How might God be inviting you to trust that your ordinary faithfulness can lead to extraordinary impact?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for using ordinary people like me. Help me to see each day as an opportunity for uncommon service in Your Kingdom.

Day 2 – Respond with Immediate Obedience: “Here I Am, Lord.”
Matthew 24:45 And the Lord said, Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his master has set over his household?

Reflection: When God stirs your heart toward action, what holds you back from saying, “Here I am, Lord”?

Prayer: Father, give me the courage to obey without hesitation. Teach me to trust that Your plans are good, even when I don’t see the full picture.

Day 3 – Touch One Life with Courage and Compassion

John 13:35 By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Reflection: Who is the “one life” God is calling you to reach with His love this week?

Prayer: Jesus, open my eyes to the person You’ve placed in my path. Fill me with compassion and boldness to love them the way You love me.
