Sunday Focus – Oct. 19

Pastor Stu's upcoming sermon, "Reaching the Lost," will explore how Jesus' parable of the lost sheep highlights God's endless love for the lost and urges us to participate in evangelism. We will examine Jesus' interactions with all types of sinners, encouraging us to reflect on our attitudes and actively reach out to those far from God.

Question to think about for Sunday:
  • How can I find encouragement in knowing that God rejoices over my repentance, and how does this understanding motivate me to share the gospel with others?

  • How can I apply the "3D's of evangelism"—Developing friendships, Discovering stories, and Discerning when to share the Good News—in my own interactions with non-believers?

  • How can I embrace the process of authentic repentance by admitting my sins, expressing remorse, and making changes, and how can I use this understanding to help guide others towards Christ?

Prayer Prompt:
Heavenly Father, prepare my heart to receive Pastor Stu's message on Your unending love for the lost, and inspire me to actively engage in Your mission of reaching out with grace and truth to those who need to hear the good news of Jesus.
