Included is the importance of the roles of leaders and the need for structure and discipline as essential elements for guiding and protecting the church.

As you get ready for Sunday, take a moment to consider these questions:

• Am I aware of my gifts, and am I using them effectively within my faith community?
• How do I view and relate to church leaders, and do I understand the importance of submitting to their guidance?
• Am I committed to the covenantal relationships within my church family, even when challenges arise?

Prayer Prompt: Lord, as I prepare to hear Sunday's sermon, open my heart to understand my role, embrace my gifts, submit to my leaders, and commit to my church community as a covenant family.
