Serving Incarcerated Moms and Their Children
ChannelMom provides media and outreach to encourage mothers with essential resources and faith-based inspiration, supporting motherhood, benefiting children, and uplifting families.
Its Prison Outreach is a transformative program that collaborates with prisons to serve incarcerated mothers and their children. The program employs a customized curriculum called *Forever Moms*, which guides incarcerated mothers toward inner healing and a healthy approach to parenting while helping them reconnect with their children. The initiative aims to restore each woman’s sense of value in God's eyes and affirm her purpose as a mother. Its overarching goal is to reduce recidivism and break the cycle of imprisonment passed down from parent to child.
ChannelMom is currently active at the Denver Women’s Correctional Facility in Denver, Colorado, with plans to expand to additional facilities in Colorado and other states in the near future. In a celebrity-driven culture, ChannelMom emphasizes the overlooked importance of mothers and families.
