RHC Kids Memory Verse | Phil 4:4
This week, we are encouraging our children to memorize a verse that reminds us not once but twice that we should rejoice in our Lord ALWAYS.
Choosing to rejoice isn't dependent on having a perfect day or getting everything we want. Paul reminds us in Philippians that when we choose to rejoice in Him it transforms the rest of our thoughts and actions.
As you practice this verse together at home, talk with your children about what it means to rejoice in the Lord. Help them recognize that even when we are disappointed, frustrated, or having a difficult day, we can still choose to celebrate who God is and all that He has done for us.
Younger Children:
Rejoice in the Lord always. — Philippians 4:4
Older Children:
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. — Philippians 4:4
Our prayer is that these words become deeply rooted in our children's hearts, giving them a lasting foundation of joy that isn't dependent on their circumstances.
