October 26th Update from Mort Mitchell

Here are some of the activies that happened during the month of October.

1. Next Steps - Lee Architects submit Formal Application Submittal
i. Planner working Sufficiency review (4 of 7 days remaining)
2. Grant Writing consultation
a. Down selected to top three candidates
b. Strong recommendation on business structure to be used for RHC & FORGE
3. Double Bay
a. Agreement to extend no lease period to 2/23/2026 - amendment received
b. Agreement on consideration for roof ($200K)
4. Colorado State Patrol - SWAT
a. Trained in facility 10/15 (11:30-5:00) "Very Appreciative"
5. Two new discussions held with business' related to RHC/FORGE
a. Right to Life (Pro-Life) Non profit (Steve Schamblin)
b. Trailhead Christian Counseling (Dan Kail)
6. RHC Property - Five showings: Two developers, two churches and Mental Health center shown property
a. Conducted second visit with their Arch Bishop
b. Board meeting to be held to consider an offer
7. Oct 5th - First meeting of Facilities/Finance team (after service) held (3 attendees)
a. Reviewed scope/roles/responsibilities for each subgroup (Facilities, Financials, Security, BAM, and Funding sources/Grants)

Guide each conversation and decision with Your wisdom so that every step moves us closer to the vision of being a community transformed by the Gospel for generations to come.
