A Church that Nauseates God | The Revelation to John
Mar 8, 2026 • Stu Fuhlendorf
What happens when a church becomes comfortable, self-sufficient, and spiritually indifferent? In Revelation 3:14–22, Jesus delivers one of His strongest warnings to the church in Laodicea—a congregation that believed it was rich and thriving but was actually spiritually bankrupt. Their lukewarm faith nauseated Christ. Yet even in His rebuke, Jesus offers grace, calling them to true riches, true righteousness, and true spiritual sight found only in Him. This sermon explores the danger of spiritual complacency, the loving discipline of Christ, and the powerful invitation He gives to renewed fellowship with Him.
