The Blessings and Curses of Prosperity

Laban discovers that the Lord has blessed him because of Jacob. Although his use of divination is sinful, the source of his blessing is accurate when he says, “The Lord has blessed me because of you.” There is a tension between a worldly view of material blessings that leads to a curse and a godly view of God’s blessings because of His glory.
